        Devotion and Education

"The martyrs of the United States belong to us; they are our brethren in the Faith, our benefactors, exemplars of courage and Christian Charity. It would seem that justice itself would place them where they so rightfully belong, in the forefront of American history and in the hearts of our people."

                                                         --Archbishop John Mark Gannon
Chair, Commission for the Beatification of the US Martyrs, 1957

    Statement on Devotion

At this time, we earnestly ask the faithful, especially parishes and ecclesial groups, to focus their devotion on those individuals who are now included in this cause, praying for their beatification and asking for their intercession.

Sharing Devotion and Stories of the Martyrs of La Florida

Prayer for the Beatification of Servants of God Antonio Cuipa and Companions

Beatification is a step before sainthood. By beatifying someone, the Church proclaims that the person in question is in Heaven, and able to plead to God on your behalf if you pray to Him.

    Curriculum Project

The Heroes of La Florida Curriculum Project seeks to equip educators to hand on the stories of the heroes of the La Florida Mission Period in academically demanding and imaginatively engaging ways.
